Prioritizing Bikes for work
For good bad or ugly we talk about prioritizing bikes for work, either as a class (eg Kid's bikes, or Tune ups), or as specific bicycles because someone has expressed interest. In theory this is fine, but in fact we have no way of communicating this in any sort of systematic way.
i) Is it workable to have priorities? or is the shop to anarchistic for that to work at all?
ii) If workable, how to go about it? A priorities list in the shop? Use of flagging to indicate specific bikes?
ASIDE: The flagging at time of processing was not a bad idea, but it did not consider the fact that many of those doing the processing are not in a position to assess the work needed or priority that should be given, so call this a modification of that system.
Thoughts?

Yes, good idea. Maybe the more knowledgable mechanics could flag them as priority bikes. You want the space and funding for Recyclore? Work on those babies. However, volunteer mechanics may choose something they prefer to work on. What an you do but try?
